Israel’s Chief of Staff Says Iran War Is Not Over
(MENAFN) Israel’s Chief of Staff, Eyal Zamir, declared on Tuesday that the confrontation with Iran remains ongoing.
“Iran and its axis remain in our sights. The campaign against Iran is not over,” Zamir stated during a military evaluation session, according to an army communiqué.
He further described the conflict in the Gaza Strip as “one of the most complex the IDF (army) has ever known.”
Acknowledging the severe toll of the fighting, Zamir commented, “We are paying a heavy price in combat.”
He emphasized that operations will persist to fulfill their goals: securing the release of hostages and dismantling Hamas.
